Rikei Corporation (“Rikei”) is pleased to announce that Synspective Inc. (“Synspective”) has selected Windchill, the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution offered by PTC Japan K.K. (“PTC”), and the 3D CAD software Creo, and that Rikei has commenced system implementation.

Overview

Synspective has selected Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to establish a scalable manufacturing foundation for future business growth. Synspective develops, manufactures, and operates SAR satellites* and provides satellite data services. The company currently manufactures 12 satellites annually and plans to continue expanding its production capacity.

With Windchill, Synspective will centrally manage increasingly complex satellite system configurations and engineering data while enabling seamless collaboration and information sharing across teams and locations. In addition, Synspective will transition to Creo, which is tightly integrated with Windchill, to further improve the efficiency of satellite system development.

Rikei will provide end-to-end support across system implementation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance, helping Synspective achieve its business objectives.

*SAR satellite: A satellite equipped with synthetic aperture radar that captures images of the Earth’s surface regardless of weather or time of day. It is used for disaster response, infrastructure monitoring, agriculture, maritime surveillance, and defense.
