Rikei Corporation (headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Satoru Isaka; hereinafter “Rikei”) is pleased to announce that it has accepted a private placement of shares of AnchorZ Inc. (headquarters: Taito City, Tokyo; Founder & CEO: Masaaki Tokuyama; hereinafter ”AnchorZ”), a company that develops and deploys “DZ Security®︎ (*1)”.

※1 DZ Security®︎: A technology that authenticates the user continuously while using devices, with an authentication method that integrates “biometric information” from the user’s face and voice with “behavioral information” based on behavioral data specific to the individual learned by AI.

Reason for the Acceptance

AnchorZ has developed the world’s first (*2) authentication technology “DZ Security®,” an elemental technology for personal authentication, and has been granted 36 patents (Japan, USA, China). In addition, its paper was accepted at IEEE international conference (IJCB2023), and the company received nine awards in Japan, including an excellence award of “Tokyo Contents Business Award 2021”.
It has already been introduced in applications such as authentication for remote work at banks and prevention of illegal bulk purchases of concert tickets. AnchorZ is currently in the process of developing an authentication platform based on the technology, and Rikei considers AnchorZ’s technology and development capabilities attractive, leading to the acceptance of private placement of its shares.
In addition, Rikei is considering the possibility of collaboration with AnchorZ in the future since we are developing and providing two-factor authentication products as well.
