Rikei Certified as Unreal Authorized Training Center – Entering Training Business Authorized by Epic Games Inc.

Rikei Corporation (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Satoru Isaka; hereinafter “Rikei”) is pleased to announce that it has been certified as an Unreal Authorized Training Center by Epic Games Inc (Headquarters: North Carolina, USA; Tokyo; CEO:Timothy Dean Sweeney; hereinafter “Epic Games”) that provides Unreal Engine.

Rikei has provided solutions including simulation, training, and digital twin (*1) using Unreal Engine. In addition, our engineers acquired Unreal Authorized Instructor qualifications in 2022 and have proposed the usefulness of VR production using Unreal Engine to lots of customers.
Now, the certification as the Unreal Authorized Training Center enables us to offer a wide variety of training programs that Epic Games provides, as well as practical training contents that added Rikei‘s proprietary technology.

(*1) Digital twin: A virtual model designed to reflect a physical object in the real world. Enabling highly accurate simulation by reproducing mechanism and operating status of the physical space in the virtual space.

Overview of the training program

Unreal Authorized Instructors support training participants in learning Unreal Engine through a wide range of lectures and demonstrations from the basics to applications including Blueprint visual scripting system(*2). They give explanation of development method using the latest technologies only practicing engineers can and are going to answer participants’ questions about the differences between Unreal Engine and other game engines, and in what industries Unreal Engine is used.

(*2) Blueprint visual scripting system: A function of the Unreal Engine. It allows non-programmers to create complex and sophisticated gameplay systems.
