Rikei Corporation (headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Satoru Isaka; hereinafter “Rikei”) is pleased to announce that the company has been approved as an authorized Reseller of the “Meta Quest” series, VR headsets developed by Meta Platforms, Inc. (headquarters: California, USA; Chairman and CEO: Mark Zuckerberg; hereinafter “Meta”) for corporate customers in Japan and acquired a “Meta for Work” certification badge. Rikei will start selling “Meta Quest 3,” the latest model of Meta Quest and other products to corporate customers.

Overview

Meta has led the global VR market by developing and commercializing advanced VR headsets. The products have been used in the fields of manufacturing, design, education, training, and simulation in recent years.
Rikei, on the other hand, has cultivated VR development technology in the enterprise field, primarily using the Unreal Engine, a game engine by Epic Games, and has been involved in content development for many Meta products.

Rikei is now able to offer Meta’s VR headsets to corporate customers as an authorized Reseller. We will focus on the development of Meta’s products for corporate customers.
