Rikei Forms a Partnership with MICS Network for Implementation of Omni-Channel Commerce Solutions

In June 2014, Rikei Corporation (Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, President & CEO: Tetsuo Kuroda) has started to work with MICS Network Inc., (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Ryuji Yoshikawa) for implementation of omni-channel commerce solutions by integrating the enterprise-class “hybris Commerce Suite” with website management platform “SITE PUBLIS.”

 

The implementation of omni-channel is becoming more and more important in various companies and also consumers’ purchasing behavior is changing with the widespread use of smart devices. With such changes, there is a growing need for omni-channel platforms enabling not only O2O, but also customer/inventory management across real stores and e-commerce sites as well as efficient delivery routing so as to prevent any business opportunities from being lost throughout diverse touch points with customers. To meet this need and to improve omni-channel customer experience, Rikei and MICS Network have started work together.

 

While Rikei, as a distributor of hybris Japan K.K., offers the “hybris Commerce Suite” designed to centrally manage business logic and various types of data, MICS Network offers website management platform “SITE PUBLIS” enabling management of landing pages for various devices as well as web content distribution to multiple devices and sites in an optimal way.

 

With the plugin architecture of “hybris Commerce Suite” and “SITE PUBLIS,” the business logic layer and web presentation layer are separated, making the optimal omni-channel implementation possible.
