RIKEI STARTS TO SELL SOLIDO-MADE COMPACT AND LOW-COST DESK-TOP 3D PRINTER "SD300 Pro."
Rikei Corporation (Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, President & CEO: Katsuei Aoyagi) would like to announce it has concluded a distributor agreement with Solido Ltd. (Head Office: Israel, CEO: Jason Brarzilay) and starts to sell a new product desk-top 3D printer developed and produced by Solido.
Solido's SD300 Pro is a compact desk-top 3D printer which is capable of creating physical models directly from 3D CAD data through an epoch-making technology. It enables you to creating strong but flexible models like a paper printer by putting a PVC-based SolidVC® plastic sheet on top of the other, which is what is called plastic sheet lamination.
Models thus created don't cause any change to the shape over the time, allowing for mechanical processing, hole-making, finish process and painting. Excess material generated in the creation process is easy to dispose as it is PVC-based. As SD300 is also easy to operate and can be installed on a desk in your office, you can print any time during designing work, drastically causing changes to your product development process. You can use it for a wide range of applications such as for industrial design, product design, presentation, considerations from human engineering aspect, rapid manufacturing and education.
