RIKEI STARTS TO SELL ACCELLION-MADE HIGH-VOLUME FILE TRANSER SERVERS WHICH SUPPORT IBM LOTUS NOTES.
Rikei Corporation (Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, President & CEO: Katsuei Aoyagi) would like to announce it starts to sell high-volume file transfer servers "Accellion AC Series" developed and produced by Accellion, Inc. (Head Office: California, USA, President & CEO: Yorgen Edholm), which fully support IBM Lotus Notes.
These high-volume file transfer servers are servers which are designed exclusively to send and receive too large files to be sent via an e-mail system. Accellion's old systems required users to do file transfer operation from the Web browser, but these new systems enable users to do so from Lotus Notes which are adopted by many companies for their e-mail systems. Users, therefore, can transfer any high-volume files with confidence from Lotus Notes to which they are accustomed to using. System administrators don't need to provide any special training to users. Users inside and outside your company can transfer high-volume files on the same platform without no increase in administration costs.
Rikei also offers and supplies customized systems by using API (Application Programming Interface) for exclusive use by Lotus Notes. For example, we can undertake customization of email transmission approval process (to obtain prior approval from your management before sending a specific email to outside your company) and incorporate such a customized function into your Accellion system to make it much more useful.
Like Accellion's old systems, these new systems enable you to secure system reliability through encryption of communications and stored files and also by setting on-server file storage period for files.
