RIKEI STARTS TO SELL THE LATEST VERSION V6.5 OF IBM-MADE IN-MEMOR DATABASE solidDB.
Rikei Corporation (Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, President & CEO: Katsuei Aoyagi) would like to announce it has started to sell the latest version V6.5 of in-memory database solidDB.
IBM solidDB is a extreme speed relational in-memory database whose speed is up to 10 times the speed of conventional databases which read/write from disks. When it is used as cache for leading databases such as ORACLE, IBM DB2, MS SQL servers, etc., or as a stand-alone database for recording, it can provide extreme speed data access requiring high performance.
IBM solidDB is designed to realize high data availability and access easiness in business. It is controlled by applications, and can run database operations almost automatically, which contribute to cost reductions related to system stoppage or delay which is expected or not expected.
