RIKEI STARTS TO SELL APPOSITE TECHNOLOGY'S THE LATEST WAN EMULATOR MODEL LINKTROPY 10-G WHICHI ALLOWS EMULATION OF UP TO 10Gbps WAN LINES.
Rikei Corporation (Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, President & CEO: Katsuei Aoyagi) would like to announce it has started to sell the latest 10Gbps Model Linktropy 10-G which is among WAN Emulator Linktropy series developed and produced by Apposite Technologies, Inc. (Head Office: California, USA, President: DC Palter).
WAN Emulator Linktropy seties are designed to emulate all possible events which may occur WAN lines such as change of bandwidth, time delays, jitters, packet losses, etc. under any test environments to provide assistance in network designing and building.
10Gbps networks, which will become mainstream trends in the future, are expected to play a major role in corporate backbones, data backup, file transfers, telephone conferences. Corporate system administrators and application development engineers are now required to create environments for this purpose by conducting verification tests and resolving troubles. For such persons, the latest model Linktropy 10-G is designed to support up to 10Gbps bandwidth in addition to various functions of previous models of Linktropy series in order to provide the best test environments. Rikei plans to promote and sell this product actively to system integrators, manufacturers of products related to networks, storage manufacturers, etc. The product has already begun to be shipped with prices ranging from Yen 3,505,000. Prices for other models range from Yen 304,000.
To mark the start of sale of this latest model, Rikei is now performing a sales campaign up to the end of April, 2009, during which period, Linktropy 10G and other Linktropy series models (except Linktropy Mini) are offered at 20% off from standard list prices.
