RIKEI STARTS TO SELL NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS-MADE GRIB ASIC CHIPS BY CONCLUDING A DISTRIBUTOR AGREEMENT WITH JAPAN NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS.
Rikei Corporation (Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, President & CEO: Katsuei Aoyagi) would like to announce it has concluded a distributor agreement with Japan National Instruments (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Ryota Ikeda, hereafter "Japan NI") to newly start to sell Japan NI's GPIB ASIC chips.
This means that the sales outlet in Japan of a total 14 products of GPIB ASIC chips, including TNT series and NAT series, moves from Japan NI to Rikei. GPIB ASIC chips are Integrated Circuits (ICs) conforming to IEEE488.1 and are used for data input/output applications for a variety of measuring instruments. Rikei is aiming to attain annual sales of about Yen 100M.

- Low cost, high-performance signle chip GPIB Talker/Listener ASIC
- High data transfer speed of up to 8MB/sec using HS488
- Data buffer between GPIB and CPU/DMA controller (32-byte FIFO)
NAT Drop-in Replacement ASIC
- Drop-in replacement chips for 3 types of TI TMS9914 controllers
- Drop-in replacement chips for NEC uPD7210 controller
