1957 Jun Chuzo Ishikawa, the Top Adviser , founded Rikei Trading Co.,Ltd. in Shiba Shinbashi (present Nishi Shinbashi), in Minato-ku, Tokyo for the purpose of introducing the world's latest electronics technology and products to Japan.
1964   Delivered DEC's mini-computer PDP8 to the University of Tokyo.
1968 Aug Osaka Branch opened.
1970 Feb Representative office opened in San Jose California, U.S.A.
1971 Jun Company name changed to Rikei Corporation.
1973 Oct Rikei Corporation of America established in Cupertino, California, U.S.A. as a locally incorporated company.
1974 Jul Rikei Corporation (H.K.) Limited established in Hong Kong as a locally incorporated company.
    Delivered Scientific Atlanta's satellite tracking system to Showa Station in Antarctic.
1975 Jun Rikei Computer Corporation established.
1978 Nov Main Office moved to the present location, Shinjuku Nomura Building in Nishi Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo.
1979 Aug Tsukuba Sales Office opened.(December 2007 closed)
    Delivered the first machine of DEC VAX780 to the National Institute for Basic Biology.
1982 Apr Nagoya Sales Office opened.
1984   Started to sell EESOF's simulation tool for designing high-frequency circuits.
1986 Feb Sendai Sales Office opened. (April 1999 Name changed to Tohoku Sales Office)
  Apr Merged with Rikei Computer Corporation.
1988 Dec Listed on the Second Section of Tokyo Stock Exchange.
    Delivered a 34m radio telescope to Kashima Space Research Center.
1990 Jul Technical & Engineering Center opened in Makuhari Techno Garden, Nakase, Mihama-ku, Chiba.
    Started to sell Stratacom's ATM exchangers in Japan.
1993   Delivered a digital library system to Nara Institute of Science and Technology.
1994   Delivered a satellite-based music distribution system(with 120 channels).
    Started to sell built-in printer servers.
1995 Apr Fukuoka Sales Office opened. (April 2002 Name changed to Kyushu Sales Office)
  Apr Rikei Corporation (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. Established in Singapore as a locally incorporated company.
1996 Oct Japan Log-Force Corp. established.
1997   Delivered a digital broadcasting system to NHK International Broadcasting Station.
    Jointly with Honda Motor Co., Ltd., successfully developed a riding simulator for motor-bicycles.
1999   Started to sell high-speed Internet access systems for hotels and multiple dwelling units (MDUs), which was one of the first broadband services in Japan.
2001   Delivered a satellite-based digital image transmission system to a CATV station.
    Delivered a satellite-based data distribution system to a convenience store chain.
2002 Jun Obtained certification of enterprise-wide Environmental Management System (ISO 14001).
    Delivered a genome analysis computer system to Kazusa DNA Research Institute.

Stated BizPortal service, which is a public wireless LAN service.
2003   Starts BizPortal service, a public wireless LAN service, at Narita Airport.
    Concludes a business partnership agreement with IBM Japan Ltd. (on May 27).
2004 Oct Opens Shenzhen Office of Rikei Corporation (H.K.) which is our base office in the Chinese market.
2005   Delivers a high-performance computing server to Kyushu University.
2008 Jan Obtained certification of Information Security Management System (ISO 27001).
